What would you do?

We all have our favorite TV shows. Mine are CSI Miami and Vegas, never got into the New York one though. Then there is Criminal Minds. I always think I should take up Criminalogy, because it is very interesting and 9 yrs. of watching CSI, I think I have the equivilant of a College degree for criminology and would qualify for a position. Just kidding folks…
Anyway my other favorite show is Eli Stone. I got drawn into this Laywers world with his visions last year. And that is what brings up todays question. What would you do if you had those visions oversudden? Would you seek out the nearest insane asylum and put your name in for the next available padded cell? Or would you continue living your life and dismissing the visions? Would you be bold enough to explore them, and help or fight for a complete stranger or friend, and run the risk of being stamped mentally insane and then getting your chance for a padded cell?
I am not sure what I would do. First off I’d see if a bottle of wine would cure it. And then pay for it with a hangover. I definately be scared. And it would occupy my mind all day. But I am not sure if I would act on it. I am sure, lots of people think it is a gift and you should feel blessed, but I suppose until this actually happens to you, you won’t know what you would do.
It would be interesting to see what other people think, so leave a comment on if you want to be a saviour, helper a visionary per say, or just rather take the bottle of wine and hope for the best.
Classic but nontheless a goody.

Now with youtube and several other broadcast yourself sites you have the ability to find some of the craziest stuff out there. Well several months ago I decided to look up some of the TV shows that I grew up watching with my Mom.
One of the shows that just sticks in my head is Dinner for one. Every New Years Eve this show was broadcasted on TV in Germany. And every year my Mom and I continued laughing about this skid. This skid is about a little ole’ Lady Miss Sophie, who celebrates her Birthday on New Years with her friends. The problem is , that her friends have passed away over the years and her Butler James has to fill in the roles of her deceased friends. Without saying more, here is the link to youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1v4BYV-YvA, where you can watch the video yourself.
My other favorite one is Fawlty Towers. John Cleese is one of my all time favorite Actor/Comedian out there. Every Saturday when I grew up, we sat and watched as Basil made a complete fool of himself in more ways then one. Many a links to Fawlty Towers on youtube, most of them are just a few minutes, but if you are fortunate enough to get BBC America on TV, watch a few episodes.
And now something for any German person that might read this blog. ” Ein Muenchner in Himmel” A classic tale of Aloisius that passed away on his job and went to Heaven and is sitting on his cloud and is creating havoc amongst the angels, because he is not getting his daily dose of Beer. I was really surprised when I found this on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le2kN4l7N6o, because it is old and not something that would attract a international viewing base because it is in german.
So here is a little look at my sense of humor. Feel free to comment or point me to some of your shows that you remember from when you grow up. And if someone knows of a link for Don Camillo and Peppone for shows on the internet please let me know, I sure would like to see one or two episodes of this show again.
