We all have them, yes Dreamjobs that we think would be just awesome. And I thought about it and had to write down some of my examples.
Restaurant reviewer. Oh the food you could eat. Just think about it. You get hungry, and just go into a Restaurant and eat and write a review about the food you just tasted. Awesome, the only drawback, if you are like me you’d be testing new pant sizes also. And it would not be in the small size either.
Hotel reviewer. Hop from country to country and review Hotels. Room Service, ordering staff around, laying by the pool with those fancy umbrella drinks, the life of Riley I tell you. Drawback, once you return back home, you are not able to call the Front Desk and request fresh towels, you actually have to wash them yourself.
Oh, Monday Night Football commentator. Oh yeah…travel to different Cities, work one night a week. Make frivolous comments for 3 hours, get the info handed to you and you get to meet all the jocks. Drawback, you realize for the other 6 days your Life is just as boring and normal as a regular Joes.
Mattress tester. Yes, if this job has not been invented yet, this definately needs to be a job. If you like to sleep this would be it. Drawback, they will wake you up so much to have you switch mattress you never get a good nights rest.
And this one I added to the list tonight. Why I never thought of it before I don’t know. But the ultimate dream job would be Chocolate taster at the Godiva Chocolate factory. Oh a dream come true. All the chocolate for you to taste and saviour and to melt in your mouth. HEAVEN !!! Drawback, they would have a Insulin drip hooked up to you also, so you would not go into sugar shock.
So no matter what your job is right now, if you love it or hate it, your dream job has it’s flip side too. But keep on dreaming, nothing wrong with that.
Those would be dream jobs indeed! How about traveling around the world writing reviews on vacation packages?
Oh that is an awesome dreamjob. Be on vacation 365 days of the year. Great Idea friend !!
[...] has a fun post….DreamJobs, what is your dream [...]
You probably don’t remember comic strip, Lil Abner, but he was a mattress tester. Always thought that’s what I want to be.
Oh really? Wow..Lil Abner who would have thought. But yes that would be a cool job to have. Thanks for the info..I guess someone thought about that already..lol.
Someday, I want to be an ice cream taster!
First dream job would be Samantha Browns job on the travel channel! What a fabulous job huh?
Next would be a jewelry designer for Claires. An unlimited amount of supplies and such to tinker with! Wow, the creations I could come up with!
Ice cream taster, oh yea but only in a warm climate though..lol.
And working for the Travel channel to check out Resorts and stuff and report on it, oh that would be just great. I’d never come back home..lol. I love all of those ideas.
Jewelry designer…mmm..I am not creative, but that sounds good too. I would rather be the person that gets to wear the expensive Jewelry and show it off.
True story – I always tell a ‘joke’ in my classes – my dream job is the person who makes sure that the peanut inside the M&M is centered. Only economical way i can figure out to check it out is to… well, bite it in half. And I would be the perfect person to bite/eat peanut M&Ms all day!
I was trumped while at a major university, training their internal auditors. They told me that there was an actual position – “Head Tailgate Party Sheriff” – who had to make sure that the alcohol consumed was appropriate, that they were using the loos instead of the field (it’s an aggie school), etc. Now THAT’s my new job – tailgate sheriff!
I love those jobs too. Yes and being in quality, you would have to make sure that the peanut was perfectly centered. And you get to eat the non-conforming ones..lol.
Tail gate party Sheriff, I never heard of that before. But sounds like a fun job too. Does he get to check/try the booze to make sure it is consumable?lol
